I saw Mary today at McDonald’s.

From there, I knew I’d be thinking about her the rest of the day. And she’d definitely on my mind.

I’m glad she’s a vegetarian. This makes it easier to tell her I’m straightedge. It also opens up a lot to conversations. I’m gonna give her a ride to Olive Garden on Friday. I think the Ska Vol. 3 is a good CD for that.

Anyway, we can talk about the deer jerky incident and all that other stuff. Lets think,--beef, her lunch, Courtney, my job, sXe, these are all the things I can discuss with her.

James is going to Rutgers.

Fan-fucking-tastic. I just can’t shake this kid. “Nuke the Whales”—ugh, I hope I don’t see him. I hope my excuse is valid for changing lunches. “I like to go to class after lunch, not lunch, then study hall.” Maybe it’ll work, he’s kinda dumb.

Well, I’ll tell Mary on Monday that I’ll drive her. I should have said it Friday, but I hesitated. “we’ll see what happens over the course of the week”. Bleh—I don’t know. Uh.. (awkward silence)… later…

I really have to learn how to fill in those awkward silences. I’ll try and learn. I need better social skills. School beats it out of you. There’s a system for everything. Well, not conversation or being friends. Well, as long as I stay open-minded and have an opinion and back it up with facts and beliefs, I can exchange ideas well.

He’s not a god. He’s a human, like me. Just like me. Same thing. Same thing.
